Morning and Welcome to Letters From the Chief. This is my first column
to you and I hope you find it helpful. We have so much in store for you
this week and so many chances to win free stamps from Marks Finest
Papers, a Heinrich Co.
Here is what we have in store for you this week:
Monday: We start off the week with our Friends of SpeedyTV Challenge. This week we are challenging you to find something in your home that inspires you and make a card showing off your inspiration.
To keep the fun going throughout the day we are kicking off our Monthly Blog Hop at Marks Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co Blog. We are Sneak Peaking our 5th and mini stamp set for our May stamp release. Be sure to check out the hop and a chance to win one of our new stamp sets that we are releasing this month.
Tuesday: Check out our Sketch With a Twist challenge. With this challenge you can create a card using the sketch our Hostess Angela has created for us. I know there are so many times I get stuck and could just use a sketch to follow. And to make this challenge more fun we add a twist to the sketch.
Our very own Pat Garvin has a new column teaching you how to make your very own backgrounds. Who says you have to use designer papers to create your cards? This week Pat will teach you how to create your own background using stencils.
And to top the day off we are starting our May Blog Hop at Marks Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co Blog. During our monthly blog hops we showcase the new stamp sets we are releasing. Be sure to check out the hop for your hop for a chance to win one of these fabulous sets. Our first stamp set we are showcasing is:
Wednesday: Well we all know what Wednesdays are, it is hump day that day we just wait for the weekend. This is why we have our Simple Salutations challenge where our Hostess Sue gives us a simple theme to follow and you just add a sentiment to top finish off your card.
Do you like Purple? Want to learn different ways to use the color purple? Check out our new column from Amy and her Purple Passion. Every Wednesday she will give us new and fun ideas on how to use purple.

Thursday: This is our busiest day of the week. We have so much in store for you on Thursdays.
Start the day off
with inspiration from our very talented Lois who is our Inspirational
Challenge Hostess. She gives you three pictures to chose from and
samples of what inspired her by these pictures. Great way to be
inspired.
Are you a
scrapbooker? Do you love to scrapbook? Check out the fun with our
Scrapbook design team. Show off your layouts. Lots of fun and a great
chance to win a free stamp from Marks Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co.
Are you a stamper
on a budget? Do you love to see all these great techniques but can't
afford all the nifty gadgets? Check out our Frugal Thrifty Stamper
Column. She will help you create gorgeous cards on your budget. This
week she will be teaching us how to color with Sharpie markers.
Top top the day off we are releasing our third stamp release of the month called
"Space Fun"
Friday:
TGIF and we have some challenges for you. First we have great new
techniques for you to try out with out Tutorial Time on SpeedyTV design
team. Each week we have a new tutorial for you to try out. This week our
challenge is to make Folded Paper Frame card. Not to mention the chance
to win a great stamp set.
We also have a brand new column with
Oriental Themed cards and projects. Do you love the orient? Do love the
look of Oriental decorations? This is the column for you teaching us to
make a bonsai tree.
And to finish our our Monthly Blog Hop we are showcasing our final stamp set for the month.

Saturday:
Welcome to the weekend. With the weekend we are going to start the
weekend off with our Speedy Fox and Friends challenge. This week the
challenge is to have a window. Not to mention the announcement of the
Blog Hop winners.
Are you looking to be inspired? We have two
of our fabulous Senior design team members who are teaming up to bring
you a column to get your inspiring juices flowing.
Sunday:
To wrap up the week we have out very own Jane Chambers who has a fun
column for you called 101 Ways and Counting. I am looking forward to
seeing what she has to share with us.
What a jam packed week of stamping and fun.
